6 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Marangu Route
OVERVIEW
The 6-day Kilimanjaro climb via the Marangu Route, often called the “Coca-Cola Route,” is the only route offering hut accommodations, providing added comfort during your ascent. This popular trail features a gradual slope and well-defined path, making it a favorite for first-time climbers. Starting from the southeast, the route passes through rainforest, moorland, and alpine desert before reaching the summit at Uhuru Peak. Though it offers a shorter acclimatization period, the 6-day itinerary improves success rates over the standard 5-day option. With experienced guides and scenic views, Marangu offers a classic and comfortable route to conquer Kilimanjaro.
