7 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Lemosho Route

OVERVIEW

The 7-day Kilimanjaro climb via the Lemosho Route is a scenic and less-traveled path offering excellent acclimatization and high summit success rates. Starting on the western side of the mountain, the route passes through lush rainforest, expansive moorlands, and dramatic alpine landscapes before joining the Machame Route near Lava Tower. The longer itinerary allows for gradual altitude gain, reducing the risk of altitude sickness. With breathtaking views, diverse ecosystems, and fewer crowds, Lemosho is ideal for those seeking a challenging yet rewarding trek to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters. It’s considered one of the most beautiful routes on Kilimanjaro.
